Michelle and Michael hosted their Mckinney, Texas, wedding at D’vine Grace Vineyard. It was a perfect late-April day—not too hot or humid, thanks to some friendly morning storms that cooled everything down. The vibe was modern with fun pops of color, and let me tell you, the guests brought their A-game in bright summer outfits that matched the occasion.

A Touch of Tuscany in Texas (Say That Five Times Fast)

D’vine Grace Vineyard is nestled in McKinney, Texas, and has a magnetic Italian vibe that the couple absolutely adored. They decorated cherub statues with flowers, held their ceremony under a stone gazebo, and celebrated their reception outdoors under twinkling string lights. They paid attention to every detail, from custom menu cards and napkins to welcome newspapers and a flower vase seating chart. It was the perfect setting for their special day!

Michelle and Michael found me on Instagram almost two years before their wedding! Michelle loved the candid vibe of my photos and the warm tones in my editing. We hit it off right away during their engagement session and even went out for dinner and drinks afterward—instant friends! Between the engagement and the wedding, I also got to snap their Christmas family photos with their adorable young son. During the planning process, Michelle would always text me, excitedly sharing things she bought that featured my photos. It was the cutest thing ever!

Capturing Candid Moments at M+M’s McKinney, Texas, Wedding

Michelle was adamant that I be more of a fly on the wall during the reception, and boy, did that pay off for candid moments! It was a blast capturing all their out-of-town family mingling, laughing, and catching up. Their Texas wedding venue was perfect for their Italian-style celebration, from the beautiful outdoor ceremony to the stunning vineyard and vintage car portraits. We were even able to sneak some film wedding photos in.
